Saggas has introduced a new bioLNG loading service at the Sagunto regasification plant, allowing trucks and ships to certify that the liquefied natural gas they carry is fully or partially renewable. This is made possible through a recognized traceability system and standardized performance metrics that ensure the bioLNG’s renewable origin.

To support this service, Saggas obtained the ISCC EU certification, which guarantees the sustainable and traceable management of biofuels. This certification also enables tracking of the bioLNG’s origin, treatment, and destination, ensuring compliance with the EU Renewable Energy Directive and minimizing environmental and social impact.
